Bedfordshire Care Group, BCG, was set up in the mid-1980’s, and our members are spread across the County of Bedfordshire with representatives from Nursing Care, Residential Care, Home Care, and Learning Disabilities. They represent around 3000 care related beds in the area.
They also liaise and work with Bedford CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group), Bedford Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council as well as other organisations to continuously improve and develop the quality of social care in the area
Our Involvement
BCG was looking for a replacement to their paper based support guides for use to ensure that key information is always available to Health and Social Care workers.
Pressure Ulcer care They also wanted to provide a step by step educational tool that could be used at every episode of care.
The app provide this critical information in a clear and direct manner. It was designed in conjunction with specialists and sponsored by Bedfordshire County Council.
